Work has recently been completed on a third screen at the Ritz Cinema, Burnham-On-Sea for owners Pat and Beryl Scott. The installation consisted of an NEC NC1100L hybrid laser light source projector, JBL loudspeakers, Dolby CP750 audio processor and Crown amplifiers. Hard of hearing and audio description facilities are provided by Phonic Ear. Image playout is by a Dolby DSS200i server with a cat745 internal media block. The new 72 seat auditorium provides greater flexibility in programming and also allows for popular films to move down to the smaller auditorium to make way for new releases in the larger two theatres.
