The large projection booth can accommodate up to 4 projectors. This allows us to easily compare and contrast different projector and server configurations to best suit our client’s unique requirements. We regularly use the theatre to rehearse screenings for film festivals and premieres. Our client Point1Post like the room so much that they had the room Dolby certified for film mixing. They have mixed and mastered the sound on more than 70 films in the theatre since 2006.
The theatres large 8m x 3m screen is the key to presenting projects in the scale which they deserve. Projection of the highest specification allows us to see the finest detail. All projection formats can be catered for including 2K, 4K, HFR, 3D, 35mm and 70mm.
The theatre is equipped with a state of the art Dolby® Atmos™ system. 45 JBL Speakers completely envelop the audience on the walls and overhead to give new levels of realism. Dolby® Atmos™ enhances the conventional 7.1 format by adding up to 118 additional “sound objects”. These can be moved through the theatre in all 3 dimensions. Other plackpack formats include 5.1, 7.1, Dolby Digital, SDDS and DTS.
