The 17 screen Showcase Cinema, Bluewater re-opened after a 6-month refurbishment in May 2022 which saw the cinema transformed into the Showcase Cinema De Lux, Bluewater. Bell Theatre Services undertook the replacement of all screen frames resulting in larger pictures throughout, upgrades to the cinema audio systems and the installation of a second XPlus auditorium powered by QSC’s Q-SYS platform and Barco RGP flagship laser projection. A Dolby Fidelio Hard of Hearing and Visual Narration system was also installed into all 17 screens during this refurbishment, along with Trinnov audio processors in selected auditoria.
